Shipping policy
Where we ship
We currently ship to addresses in the continental United States (the lower 48 states). We don't ship to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, PO boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or international destinations at this time.
Processing time
Because everything is made in small batches, processing time can vary. Orders typically ship within 2–4 business days, but occasionally take a bit longer when we're working through a batch. During holiday peaks expect an extra day or two. We'll email you if your order is delayed.
Transit time
Once shipped, you'll receive a tracking number by email. Standard delivery typically arrives within 3–5 business days. Express options (when available) arrive in 2 business days. Carriers and live rates are shown at checkout based on your address.
Free shipping
Standard shipping is free on orders over $100.
Heat-sensitive packaging
Chocolate doesn't love heat. During warm months (May–September) we pack carefully to minimize melting risk, and we strongly recommend adding insulated packaging at checkout (available for an additional charge) along with choosing a faster shipping option and arranging for someone to receive your order. If your order melts in transit, we'll do our best to help — but we can't guarantee a refund or replacement, especially when insulated packaging wasn't selected.
Address accuracy
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We're not responsible for orders sent to incorrect addresses you've provided. If we make the mistake, we'll fix it.
Lost or stolen packages
If your tracking shows delivered but you haven't received it, contact us at hello@chocolateanswer.com within 48 hours and we'll help work with the carrier.
